SEQUENCE partnered with BUDSSMOKE, a fast-growing dispensary chain, to launch The Buds Club—a community-driven brand designed to cut through a crowded market with authentic, artist-led experiences rooted in culture, creativity, and connection.

A Space for Culture, Community, and Cannabis

PROJECT: Media & Marketing

What started as a simple website redesign quickly grew into building a full-on marketing department with a fresh, outsider perspective. We tapped into BUDSSMOKE’s love for art and community by uniting budtenders and customers under one banner: cannabis enthusiasts. From there, we just leaned into what most dispensaries overlook—the culture. The humor, the creativity, the vibe. All of it, we already lived.

OUR COMEDY SHOW

We brought together 60 guests for a night of laughs, vibes, and pure shenanigans—headlined by Canada's Got Talent's Sai Kit and comedy heavyweight Nick Reynoldson. It was the perfect showcase of how DOPE culture brings people together through community, comedy, and good energy.

OUR HAUNTED HOUSE

Over 90 people from all over the greater Toronto Area were recruited to expose the disaster of an underground grow house’s experimental formula. Mutants, monsters, puzzles and scares couldn’t stop the good vibes that night as the community enjoyed a fun and immersive haunted house x escape room experience.
